what an honor it’s been to watch this family grow. years ago, I was asked to document the births of both their son and then their daughter so I have been here since Kylene and Patrick became parents, and what amazing parents they are.

Kylene is a successful photographer, designer, and small business owner here in the Bismarck/Mandan area (you should check her out: Kylene Fitzsimmons Photo and Design and Rose James Co) and I love working with other creatives. these guys are always down for something fun and new so when I brought up some ideas, Kylene mentioned the kids had been really into making paper airplanes lately.

it’s not always about adding props to your session to make it interesting. it’s not about having the most exciting thing to post. it’s about documenting where your family is at during this time in your life. it’s always been about telling YOUR story.
